Kristi Carter

Kristi Patrice Carter is a professional writer and marketing consultant with twenty-three years of experience, a JD from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, and a BA in English from the University of Illinois Chicago. Kristi’s expertise is writing and editing legal content for a wide range of readers. Although legal content is her specialty, she also enjoys writing parenting, pet-related and inspirational articles. As a freelancer, Kristi manages and creates content for diverse clients across the country. Kristi has also authored thirteen self-help books, several of which are Amazon best sellers, and her publications can be found on various websites and in print magazines.

Kristi is also the Executive Director of Henry’s Caring Heart Foundation, a nonprofit organization that administers financial aid grants to low-income families with pet-related expenses such as vet care (emergency and routine), boarding costs, and shelter adoption fees.

When Kristi isn't writing or building her charitable organization, she enjoys rescuing betta fish, gardening, reading books, watching documentaries, and spending quality time with her husband, three children, fourteen bettas, two fur babies, and one feathered kid (named Hearsay).
